“Our inspiration for The Crescent was born from the 19th-century architectural preference for creating rural landscapes within cities. This “Rus in urbe” (country in the city) design – combined with the distinctive Regency-style curving terraces of townhouses – evokes the great terraces of Bath and Edinburgh. It does this with a modern twist, sensitively updating the Georgian architecture and changing the traditional urban setting to picturesque parkland.”
